Kristin Hay | Owner + Designer

With an equal love for fine art and flowers, my passion is ensuring every floral arrangement designed especially for your event is an experience that’s better than you could have ever imagined or anticipated.

Coming from a customer service and project management background, I specialize in handling all the details and logistics so you never have to. You can rest assured that working with me will be a streamlined, stress-free process.

I believe that as a florist, I have a responsibility to educate myself and my customers on sustainable practices and the necessity of supporting local flower farmers.

Additionally, I believe in giving generously to causes that bring restoration and hope to people in need. That is why a portion of all profits is donated to organizations doing meaningful work.

 Local Flowers

Did you know that most of the flowers you see in the grocery store are imports? While they may have a cheaper price tag on the consumer’s end, they come at a cost to American flower farmers who are forced to compete with international growers using cheap labor (and questionable labor practices) across the globe.

When you buy locally-grown flowers, you’re supporting American jobs and preserving farmland. Your flowers will be fresher and last longer, and you’ll also gain access to beautiful, specialty blooms that don’t ship well. It’s a win-win!

While sourcing 100% locally is not always realistic, we prioritize Colorado-grown and American-grown flowers whenever possible.

Practicing Generosity

For all flowers purchased, Kind Floral makes a donation to Shores of Grace, a non-profit whose dream is to see the end of prostitution in Brazil in our lifetime. Their focus is setting those in prostitution and abuse free and walking them through restoration. They also run a home for at-risk children and adolescents, and they provide for the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of those living in Brazil’s favelas (slums) and on the streets.
